The Wayland Baseball & Softball Association (WBSA) provides baseball
and softball programs for boys and girls in
kindergarten through grade twelve. This parent-run organization is
staffed by volunteers, ably supported by the Wayland Park and
Recreation Department, for the benefit of the boys and girls of Wayland.
The mission of the WBSA is to provide
baseball and softball programs
that serve players of all abilities. The WBSA strives to provide a
positive, competitive environment with emphasis on teaching the
fundamentals and the rules of the game. Sportsmanship, teamwork, and
safety are stressed. The WBSA is a parent and volunteer organization
committed to building an appreciation for the games of baseball and
softball through quality coaching and parental involvement.
We welcome your participation: as a player, as a coach, as one
of our many volunteers, as a financial contributor or
team sponsor, and
as a fan. Please use this Web Site to learn more about the Association.
Any of the Association's officers, commissioners and committee leaders
listed in the Officers page will be happy to hear from you. So bring your love
of baseball and softball and your enthusiasm, and join us for another high-energy year.
Our mission is for all players to
improve their skills while enjoying the experience.
